Mikey’s endorsement agreement includes apparel and footwear. He made his first appearance with the DC team at the Street League Skateboarding™ DC Pro Tour 2011.

"I'm honoured to be on the DC Skate team and couldn’t be more excited to be a part of its future,” says Mikey.

Like most teens, Mikey started skateboarding in front of his house with his brother and friends in the suburbs of Los Angeles, aka “the valley”.

He grew up having the classic California lifestyle – surfing, skating, and snowboarding. However, unlike the majority, Mikey has turned his love for the board into a successful career and still revolves around those friends. Skateboarding six or seven days a week since he started, Mikey still manages to keep the fun alive. One thing that anyone cannot fail to notice after spending even a day with Mikey is that his work ethic is what has been the secret to his success.

Mikey was one of the top 24 skateboarders in the world asked personally by long time friend and team mate Rob Dyrdek, to be a part of Street League, the official League of Skateboarding, founded in 2010.

He believes there’s no better feeling in the world than “landing that one new trick”.

When asked about life after skateboarding, Mikey said: “I have no clue. I’m havin’ so much fun doin’ it now, I don’t even want to think about it.”
